Jackshire.site was born from a simple observation: as we mature, finding meaningful social connections and intellectually stimulating experiences becomes increasingly challenging. In 2020, our founder Eleanor Richardson recognised this gap and set out to create something different.
What began as small philosophy discussion groups in local cafes has blossomed into a thriving community of curious minds across the United Kingdom. We've hosted over 500 events, facilitated thousands of conversations, and witnessed countless friendships blossom.
Our mission remains unchanged: to provide adults aged 40-60 with opportunities to engage, learn, debate, and connect through thoughtfully curated experiences. Every event we organise is designed with care, ensuring quality interactions and genuine intellectual stimulation.
